NET environment. Andy Roberts, Software Developer, Marquis Software Development The uniqueness of the ActiveReports products have helped to boost our sales which is always a good thing.
Dempsey Parden We chose ActiveReports due to its full feature set, friendly licensing model for web-based applications, and ease of development. Chris Barker, Developer, Barks N Bytes, LLC These products have the most complete feature set, the most flexibility, and they are very user friendly and developer friendly. Michael Hersey, Senior, Software Developer, Sherry Labs We find the ActiveReports designer provides the tools to produce rich and graphically pleasing reports very quickly.
Larry Harker, IT Manager, Association of Oregon Counties We liked the end user reporting which allows the end users to customize the reports in their layout because every team in our organization likes to display their reports a little differently.
It has been a big time and money saver. ActiveReports stood head and shoulders above the other three products. I have found that ActiveReports is very easy to use, performs well for me and gives me all the features that I need. With ActiveReports, this was easy to do.
To export a report
This is largely because the number of toolbar buttons on the viewer is already staggering. If you want to export the current report, we expose an Export method on the viewer control. If you are not using VS, you can just copy the classes out of the project and add the bitmap resource image. Despite the name, these exports can handle both SectionDocument and PageDocument reports, because internally they convert a PageDocument into a SectionDocument at run time. Something important that we considered in our design was that you may not want to ship all of the exports with your application.
